Kicker solo L7 D2-- 08 model vs 07 model

The L7 15s:

The 08 model's sensitivity's listed as 89.4.
The 07 model's sensitivity's listed as 88.5.

What are the drawbacks, if any, if I had two of each in my vehicle? Am I in danger of either failing, or is the difference not even going to be noticed?

I am wanting to add two more 15s to my truck, but am having problems finding the 07 models.

Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but as most of you know I'm a newbie...and well, you've gotta start the knowledge quest somewhere.

Oh, and the sensitivity ratings are the only differences I find between the two models. Do you guys/gals know if there are any other differences?

yea right it dont suck! lol......maybe for you but.....the new ones are supposed to have stronger cones....has different venting and a plugged butt hole solid pole piece.

New motors are stronger than the previous years, each revision to the L7's makes them better and better!

oh no, don't get me wrong. Wasn't saying that they suck at all. Just saying it sux for my application. I want/need my stuff to all match. Unlike some people, I want to produce great scores while having the whole system looking great at the same time. Wires hidden, extra batteries hidden. You can't even see my amps in the back. Not trying to degrade anyone else's system. Just saying looks are equally as important to me as the score on the monitor.

Having a difficult time finding someone who wants to get rid of their L7 15s--D2....going to be even that much more difficult to find a matching set of 07s.

just tell them they need to buy the 08's cause they are better and should sell theirs to you...

definite difference between the 2 subs havent tested aginst each other but have seen them back to back 08 way stronger moter and cone just like sibley said
