| From reading the USACI event schedule, I notice that most of the shows are in the deep south or Texas. Which is great if you live there I dont live there though, im out in Kentucky - Louisville area. My SPL team and I regularly attend the Kuhmo Warriors show at West Point, KY every year. But its a damn shame there are no other events in the area. My question : is there any talk to development of events in this area or is it just a general lack of interest in doing so? Thanks | |

| Hey kevin! Yeah I figured id drop by and show some usaci love Hey did you still need any more pics or anything? As far as shows, im probably capable of throwing one since I have team members to support any such effort, and of course I own a termlab. but who doesnt ? As im sure most of you know, there are ALOT of loud people here in kentucky - but this is primarily MECAland (and im of course 2938x guilty of that myself). But more shows are fun for all, no matter what organization you're in or support. USACi is another format, and I like it as well, its just a shame that there isnt more support in Kentucky and the surrounding states. | |

| MECA's national office is near Kentucky and as such they spend a lot of time promoting that area. USACI has events Nationwide and as such we tend not to push too hard for events in areas where other groups are strong if nothing else but because we are so busy elswhere (I know, no excuse). Other groups tend to become offended and start giving everything free to keep us from having events in their markets and we are not in that business. Interestingly enough, most of the organizations (there are many) are run by previous USACI directors.
As for Kentucky, we will be happy to hold as many events as we can provided there are retailers in the area that want to host them. As an industry organization we prefer to hold events with retailers in order to promote the industry if possible but are willing to work with any interested party.

| Thanks for the reply Ralph. Actually, they dont spend as much time promoting as you might think. And I know a number of shops/retailers that will not deal with MECA at all, so opportunity can present itself. | |

| If you are familiar with the shops in your area, I would suggest stopping by to say Hello. And try to work the conversation into competition. See if you can get then interested and have them call the office to see if a director is available for a show. 1-479-750-0505 Mike Darville is the man. (when Ralph's not around).
Then the director can call on the shop to explain all the benefits of hosting a USACI event.
