Lincoln Nebraska Sunday 2 Neons whats louder? New/Old

slumpinhonda I thought I'd start a new forum just to let everyone know about the good battle. 2 Neons head to head No rules. 2 weeks ago I got a 152.4 in the kick and was rather excited and decided to challenge the great tim to a soundoff. I gave him 2 weeks with a new gen neon (Ihave an old gen) Let me know if I've bitten off more than Ican chew? 1 week later at a local show tim did get it up to a 147 something don't know what he's running. I'll have to admit just a lil scared. come down to lincoln and watch as we throw down.

I can play all types of musci in mine, even tho it is tuned at 61hz Don't think techno or rap is a prob. I even tried country and damn. LMFAO

I built a wall once that was tuned to 50, yet played down to 30 rather nicely. All depends I guess. I agree tho that some can't. say super mod. lmao

well i would think a wall can get crazy loud bro so when i get my G/F CAR ill wall it with 4 ten think solox are T3 the solox are much cheaper and i can afford it with ease. the T3 just are so high im not made out of money

walls can be loud and can't be loud. All depends on the install. Also depends on what series of T3 your looking at on price.

The big subs are not always the best, depends on power as well. Alot of variables go into any build. Think of a class and go from there on it.

I would prob go with the tss on the single goliath. Again it depends on what the final outcome of the install will be as far as power. If its the single amp, then again I say tss for T3, if adding 3 more or going with say 4 stesom 7kw or cactus 7k's then maybe the tsns. There are alot of drivers out there that are just as good , if not better. Application is the key.

I did play some music on it it didnt sound too bad at all for an outright spl box it got the windshield flexing pretty hard

you are right big woofers arent always the best in a teamates explorer we gained 2db by going to a lower series woofer, the reason i believe i hit a brick wall in the Neon was dropped more efficient woofers in place of the others and score was the same off same power

maybe so i just got the power to really push my sub to breaking point. the golaith couldnt do that. so ill have to check into the subs i also was think solox ten cuz of the price a pair of ten on the golaith should be pretty dam mean. im talking total 4 ten and two golaiths
