Batteries in truck beds

I was reading the rules about batteries in truck beds. Is there a limit of how far you can put them in the bed or can you pile as many back there as you can? I didn't relize that you were able to do this. This includes extended cabs too, right? This could definately change up our build a little bit. Aphinney, I'm sure you know about this one, any clarification?

I think its.....the area in the bed is like 24" from the front of the bed?

I guess I should have reread the rules this year. Oh, well we expected to be building a few boxes anyways. Looks like the next one will be a little bigger than this one is.

last I knew it was 36" from the front of bed. cannot go above the bottom of bedrail.

You can have both batteries and amps located in the bed. Or you can be like me and just cram it all in the back of a rex. haha

Maybe next year I will play with an S-10
