| Thermal on the SX are 1000 cont. but just like what Scott said it depend on the enclosure. (I have personally seen 5K) When most people tell me they want to do MT's but want an everyday subwoofer I sell them SX. You can abuse the hell out of them, sound very musical and it comes with a warranty. Tommy has custom built .7 vc for his SE. The SE were made in Henderson,NV until just a year ago when they went over sea's. Let me know if I could help further. Pete | |

| Hey Pete this is Dave (Kracker) from Sound Box. I got an 89 s-10 blazer Im gonna build up im wanting to do 4 SX 18"s with a MOJO 4KW on each pair. Any info on enclosure and port size will help. want to have built for San Antonio Heatwave in May. Either PM me or get with Gus. Just wanting to build something loud we can play with at the shows and thought I would try out the REs. Kinda getting bored with the one note Honda Thanks Dave | |

| The enclosure will matter as to how much power they can handle as others have already stated. We've had approximately 8kw on 4 of the 10's for street beat runs before. In Bruiser's tahoe back in 2005 we used 3 Autotek 4000.1's on 3 SX 15's. The class he ran was limited to one battery though so we were only able to get about 7500 watts to the 3 of them but he used to play them on music as well with that power for short periods. If you have clean power and do not get carried away on length of playing time at full power you will be fine with 1500-2000 per sub.
The SX is one of my all time favorite RE subs. | |
