| i run a deep cycle in my talon. it only has 500 cold cranking amps but my car is garaged and it lasts forever when running the subs. the reason i have such a small battery is cause i dont have room in the motor cavity. depending on the car you can put a bigger one. I also know of people who will use a kinetik as the main battery as well. | |

| Where are you getting your Optimas from? Like I said in the sq section, please contact me, I would like to help with your optima problems. I have and have had Optimas in all of my vehicles in the last 8 years and have never had a problem. I install them in most of our customers cars and have had no problems. Please let me know what I and optima can do to help. | |

| As this is the USACI forum and we at USACI try to endorse and support the companies that support us, we let our members know whenever deciding to make a purchase what brands support this sport and this association. That is a relevent factor when considering who to support.
What other companies do for other organizations may be relevent to those organizations or their members in their forums but it is not relevent to USACI.
This IM is not intented to be negative or ilicit a response but more to explain our position on this issue.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting USACI. We rely on individuals like yourselves to keep this sport going!

Well I respond to the reason the other brand wasn't at finals, but my post got deleted. I never said anything negative about USACi. I try to support USACI and get more people involved in this sport. I now see we can't voice our opinion on this forum. Again, I never said anything negative so it was kind of disapointing to see my reply got deleted.

We sincerly hope to see your name in a lot more N.E. events results in 2008 (Mark is working on shows already).

| I only miss 2 show in the N.E area this year. Most of them not even posted in the USACI results. There are other organization, but this organization is the one we choose to support. I am even working on getting some more of my customers involved and attend shows. We helped Mark run some of the shows, which he give us special awards. I am looking to get some shops sponsor some shows this year. Mark is a great guy and doing an excellent job.

Mark will be updated it soon. Seems the weather up there makes it hard for early season events! The first show here use to be the 3rd week in April.

| powermaster does support its usci competitors, unfortunately there was another finals the same weekend in powermasters home state so just couldnt justify a 12hr trip over a 2 hr trip. i'm sure we'll see powermaster at a few more usaci event in the future. | |
