| I was wondering if there would be a noticable difference between using 3/4" MDF & 11 Ply Birch for normal enclosures. | |

| I use 1" mdf layered with fiberglass and resign. | |

| If cost was not a factor for me I would use birch. No way I'm spending $90.00+ a sheet to build a 20+ cube enclosure. But for a smaller box probably. | |

| The last time I checked here it was around 85 for baltic birch which was three years ago. I just asumed that the prices kept going up. You could be right. | |

| around here birch is 50 a sheet mdf is 29. | |
