| So im looking into buyin a 2 dr tahoe 98-99. Ive never had 18" subs and would like to do 4 if possible.... Question is, Im going to use 2 Memphis 4k's for amps, whats subs should i be looking at for everyday use Do i need 8-10 cu. per sub for 18's? Any info, me much greatfull | |

| i know with dd's you need 6-8 cubic feet per sub, i would go with 4 dd 9518's on 2 memphis 4kw's | |

Also Audioques juat came out this weekend $299 for an hdc3 18".....more than 6000watts on burps i heard and about 2500-3000rms | |

You can go smaller I know someone who ran 18s at 4 cubes and was loud!!!! | |

| i would look to FI over the dd ..i cant think of a dd that played music and low and clear sounding as the BTL...they always sounds like they are in a smal sealed box to me or somthing...if you go the fi rout..parts and good info are always availible...people say you can run 18s in 6cubes..but i personally wouldnt...i think id rather have like 4 15s or 3 18s in 20 cubes...but im picky on my boxes...they gotta drop | |

| There are lots of good 18 out there from diff Manufacturer. You have to see which onewill fit your aplication and budget. | |
