WHAT IS THIS? CARS OFF AT FINALS???

I heard thru the grapevine that there is a possiblility that we may not be able to have the cars run...even in the lanes at finals? Is it just me or should this have been figured out LONG ago and something said to us competitors before we decided if we are going or not. I hope this is just a rumor because this is USACI not drag. Allowed to run the vehicle all season and test with vehicle running etc. all year. Not to mention the money many of us have spent on alternators etc. Could Ralph or someone please comment on this ASAP. This could be a huge difference.

This would kill my setup. There is no way I would risk blowing a amp because of low voltage because of this.

I agree fully. This could cause a lot of issues with equipment, especially in the higher power classes and street beat.

Certainly hope not, this was brought to my attention last night in the chatroom. Someone said Ralph himself mentioned that the qwest center was being real picky about the cars not running at all... even in the lanes. Not trying to stir stuff up, just making you all aware of what I had been told.
