for sure. See you there! This coming from the same guy that refuses to register for the Brand X portion of the show until he knows who's going to be judging it....... would you like an Escalade front end for your van? Would you like a new pen so you can write some more checks? No I wrote out a check earlier for a pack of them. Did you still want that front end? I could buy you one. Might take away from my funds to the local shop though. No need to buy anything for me. As far as the front end, I had that grill done and on my van while yours was still in primer. It wasn't a "front end", but I did it myself, and made it work. Key words being, "I did it myself". Same as the 66 Fairlane I'm restoring right now, same as my Blazer.... It's kind of funny how you "don't do what Cactus tells you", but you weren't loud until you started running his stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's good stuff, but not enough to make that kind of difference. Give the man some credit where it's due. You still wouldn't be loud if he didn't help you.

| Have fun getting schooled at finals by a VAN. That's if you don't make excuses this time and actually go. | |

| The people that know me know that I haven't changed anything in my van since last years World Finals except batteries and amps. Box is still exact. I think it's that pretty paint that made it louder. External bracing ya know. | |

When did I make excuses and not go? Last time I checked, there was a pair of 1001-5001 and a 0-1000 supermod world champion trophies sitting in my shop. If Alan beats me, which he probably will, I don't have a problem with that. He's not a condecending as shole who thinks he's top sh it because he paid someone to make his vehicle pretty. Besides, this blazer was my daily driver up until two weeks before drag finals....I guess I just don't understand how someone can be so proud of work they didn't do.

Geoff is 100% correct ...... that new paint DID make him louder . lol Seriously , he hasnt changed anything in that van because someone told him too , he does ALL the work on that van by himself . Test and tune . I see his van almost every weekend in the summer and have been competeing with him for years . Geoff is top notch . Can he be a prick , to the people that doubt him , yes . But to say he dont get credit for a paint job and some body work ......cmon ! Too say that Cactus made him louder ........ i say yep , those amps are awsome !

Didn't think so.......... You really shouldn't make assumptions based off other people. You have no clue who I am or what I do. For your information I helped my painter damn near the whole time WE worked on it TOGETHER. The front end? Well I got all the pieces brought it to the guy gave him information and pictures from my own research and told him how I wanted it. I don't know how to weld to do body work so it's my fault for not having to know-how of how to do it. After that I finished the front end up myself where I thought it needed slight modification (it was roughed in when I got it back). Since where do I brag about my van being so pretty? I think other people do it for me so why the hell would I do it? I don't give a crap if people love it or hate it. After all it is mine and you can dog me or my vehicles all you want. I will just sit back and laugh.

| Oh yes Mr. Hoss and for the "Guy that helped me get loud". You can thank Alan Hall for most of that. He helped me from the beginning. I will add Charles G and Johnny M in there also. Thank you all!!!!!!!! There's others but those 3 helped me with the majority of my questions.
Edit: Nick Wright and Big Dave helped a little too. There's alot more though. Thanks again.

| Unfortunatly, we will not be there this year. I wanted to return with Jafar's van and defend our championship (901-1800). We just don't have enough time or money to make the trip this time. We are looking forward to next year though.
I hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable trip. And may the SPL Gods smile on each and everyone.

| I don't think so. Or, maybe it is. We didn't have to rerun.
We did take advantage of a paid rerun. Charles was doing such a good job of catching us, we paid for a rerun just in case we got beat. Like always you get to the line and get nervous. Jafar turned the volume up one more click and the amps went into protect. The amps going into protect have been our problem the whole time. Can't really get full power for the IA 20.1s.
