| ok...well i havent posted for two weeks...this subject stupid...if you outlaw crx's and s10s then u can kiss about 40 people that are your top competitors good BYE...
cut crx's and s10s out...why cause they are louder then others....well EVERYONE HAS THE OPP. TO GO GET ONE...SO IT IS FAIR GAME. street beat is for the new guys...everything else is for season vets. i for one have spent LOTS of my hard earn money to get what i got and where i got it and if usac cuts my legs out...then see u lata
go on ebay, autotrader, yahoo, ect ect. they are around. i live in iowa and there are crxs here, so no one can have an excuse why they are gettin beat by crx or s10s. FIRST OFF, if yall think it is easy to get a crx or s-10 loud, then i say go out and start building one. i know chris, which has the loudest number ever done in a s-10 truck in prostock, has a crazy amout of hours in his old truck. every day, nite, morning, dream was into that truck for two years. so if yall think it is that easy then maybe u should talk to chris and ask how EASY it really is. s h i t , ask bruce, rich, jimbo, rob, tim s, myself, kev, ect ect. IT ISNT EASY AT ALL.
so to all u crx and s10 haters...yall have no excuses.
if u move these vehicles to mod, then u should move dd, kicker, db drive, ect to mod also cause they have an advantage over pyle, boss, ect.
by the way this is my last post for a while on this forum, so take it how it is. this comes up every year and if this happens, then watch every flock to DB D R A G cause they cant use these 5k dollar cars in usaci so we will go where we can use them. i like usac and i want to be in this org for a long time so dont force us out thank you.

I agree with this statement as well. They should be condenced at single and most likely douple point events. Regionals and finals should be opened up.

- Here's my 2 cents....right off the bat no not a fan of rexs or minis but right now all is legal so i deal with it. someone said we'll lose competitors who have rexs if rules change but i know about half dozen who have allready quit do to rex's and trucks shiit i thought of quit myself due to this BUT it took me a very long time and i finnally did something with my neon now i do a pretty damn good number in the TRUNK CAR do i think i would place alot better if i knew i didn't have to compete against them hell yea but like i said rules are rules and you got to live with them don't kill me about this just my two cents.
if u want to quit because of a rex...somethings wrong.....when u were a freshmen in highschool did u quit football cause the seniors were knocking the $hit out of people NO!!!!! u put your helmet on and got wit it!

| I don't care what the rules are as long as everyone is happy and we get as many new members as we can without scaring them off. I understand everyones feelings on both sides. I am not for the rumor or am I against it. A level playing field yeah but rules are rules and we all have to abide by them. EVEN ME! I am all about the shows and having fun so lets not worry about what maybe and focus on what is here and now. Sign up for finals get your calls in NOW and we will all have fun in Omaha. | |

| I have to agree with aphinney. if you can spend $1000 on amps or subs you can spend $1000 on a crx or a s-10 .but that wont make you loud work will but here is the deal if someone gets beat they should ask what to do to get louder not hate the car. I have beat crxs and minis with a explorer at finals on 05 so whats the point of getting rid of them none. I done a 150.9 with a explorer with 1xs100 and 2 L712s easy. my brother is helping some guys down south and has a explorer doing a 152+ with 1 1200.1 and a trunk car with 1 800w@4ohm amp doing over a 156 so whats the point maybe a trunk class will help but you will still have ppl that stand alone. face it crxs are here to stay. | |

| id say put the panels back in shrink up classes, and make like an entry level class for 1st year competitors like maybe just an unlimited class for new comers......i dont think singleing out single cars is the right thing to do i ran a trunk car last year did well with it but in drag....i bought a crx over the winter put LONG hours into it to get it where it is today......the deal with these cars are alot of people have them most the way figured out that so its easy to get a good starting point thats all, still takes tons of testing to figure out what YOUR car likes not a single vehicle acts the same......oh well i guess we will find out info on this at a later date.........good luck to all at finals it should be A BLAST! | |

| Agreed....CRX's aren't magic...it just happens that someone a long time ago figured out a setup that worked in them...then someone else tried it and made improvements etc. etc. The same could happen with almost any vehicle....force crx's out and a competitor will show up in something else and do a good number, others will take notice and buy that very same vehicle and improve it's design...all the sudden we will have yet another "super vehicle" then what??? Kick it out too? C'mon get real here. Keep crx's, Keep S10's but MAYBE half the area in the bed as there is now and get building. | |

| like everyone said, i think the same people would still be on top in there class...because chances are they have put in the most work in their cars!so newbies would still be scared...if that is the case???? | |

When was that, competitor name, box design, building shop. Does anyone remember? 2000 Eric Yates in a 90 crx. His own design. Subs forward and port in back. Built himself.
