apparently this is fake.... went to the fb page also... the ACTUAL rumor is they have placed themselves for sale recently but arent looking to shutdown. even that they are denying.

Seems to be fake they just made an announcement that they are releasing their new business plan at CES.

Sounds like they are in distress. Trying to regroup. This industry needs good companies that want to grow the industry and work together for the betterment of us all.

does not surprise me , quad seems to be the first to cry dooms day all the time , the sky is falling the sky is falling , better get to your shelter.... bo ho....

yeah 17 days to go before we enter our shelters but atleast we have them just in case better safe than sorry it cost hardly any more to be on the safe side, and Quad has been dead on when it comes to how and why this industry has fallen so far.

you think he/you are the only one seeing the industry suffer , we just dont all get on here and talk about how the glass is only half full ...... how many positive post's have he/you started . it's all about gloom and doom . or about how great/smart you are . start some positive posts and you may................ get some positive feed back . good luck in those shelters . IF in 17 days those save your life and im gone then you can pat yourself on the back . WHEN it doesnt happen , please stay there ..........

yeah what ever i state what happens not just sunshine if you want a mitt romney veiw i am going to win and don't so be it thats you and far as quad he made his bank and works for fun what do you do? and we have huge car audio plans if all goes well for the rest of the year and the goverment has a budget next year? a real business person would not be a fool and not look at the outlook on the budget alone if not pasted we will be looking at a great depression 50-60% unemployment car audio will not be able to take this 2nd hit, if all goes well we have a speaker parts supply company opening and a soundoff org to bring to light, if it does not go well we have been playing in Gold and other things to stay on top of the game.

Just because you have to work for the man does not mean others did not have a plan in life and made the right moves to live a good stress free life.

P.S. we will be at CES 2013 if all goes well in the ReAudio booth with a new box line to bring to market also. Meet Quad and Me with our made in The U.S.A lines

mtx parternerd up with another annonymous company to be release very soon.. they are doin the same thing kicker is doin... (from my biggest distrubutor)

If you are talking about the Wholesale House, I'd take what they say with a grain of salt. They got Kicker pulled from them because they finally got sick of the transhipping.....

lol if you have to sell your product in walmart/kmart to survive then your dead in car audio, they already paid for the booth so why would you not show after all that cash layout never saw them busy we had record sales Huge from dealers running away from rockford kicker mtx powerbass.
