I REMEMBER SOMEONE ASKING THIS 2 YEARS AGO THEN ALL THE SUDDEN WAMMMMM ALL IS QUIET WAS THERE EVER A RULING ON THIS AND IF SO WHAT WAS THE RULING

if i remember correctly the floorboard (cab) could be extended backward in the cutout, could be wrong and it be floor of the bed height been awhile Sad

I remember someone saying like in an astrovan. You can cut inbetween the frame rails to allow more batteries but no cutting to allow more airspace for box.

doing a cutthrough, is legal, but not floor cuts unless it is for batts i think and it has to be between frame rails.

I do believe that several brand X SS competitors were wanting a solid decision on this to use their vehicles to compete with us and never received a definitive answer.
