| I have seen people in DB Drag use 1/0 wire for speaker wire..It gets expensive using it that way though.. | |

| i ran 18 gage at one show awhile back on 11k ... it held for 20 sec in my van 8 gets hot after alot of demos.. just because amps are so far away from subs | |

| 8 gauge is probly good up to about 10k if its a short run. anything under that amount of power should be fine as long as like rowland said its not 6 ft from the amps or somthing. but a couple ft and under is fine | |

| Ok i will have 1 or maybe 2 db drive 7.5s. And around 3 feet from amp and box. Is that a good idea. Will be doing street beat burps and demo. | |

| doesnt larger wire help with impedense rise also ..... im pretty sure it does ... say 8 ya rise ta 1.2 0hms and ya try 4 and rise ta only 1 ohm thats pretty big diff. | |
