| i would go from those aeros to slot port. aeros are good for like small hatchs and you can do a crx style box but suvs like explorer, trailblazer, blazer, expidition i would suggest slot port. still sub up port back. what are the powerbass 3ks wired to? i would think this setup is good for 153-155s on a burp and around 152+ sb. | |

| take a dmm. Put it on ohm setting. touch one end of a ground with one lead and touch the other end of that same ground with the other lead and see what the resistance in the ground is. That will tell you if your grounds are good. they should read 0 | |

| that would hurt your score alot if your grounds have resistance in them. and you said you were looking to get louder so i just threw an option out there. theres plenty of things to look into whenfine tuning to get louder. i went from like a 152 to a 154 with just tweeking and grounds and all the small things | |

| o ok now i understand. well i got 4 runs from my neg on the front battery and since i got a sh1t ton of wire left i could do some frame grounds also | |

| test how i mentioned it. you can have alot of grounds but if there shitty grounds i wont matter. and if you have time and money do a new box with slot port and a good amount of port like 20" per cube or so. that should put you up there nicely | |

Well there is a guy with a shop here with a bronco and he has his whole inside in rhino lined out. Now he says it eliminates the rattle and sort of acts like a bracing and such. Now I know herculiner may not be as strong but im thinking of doing something similar but with a twist this weekend.

| Are You Still Goofing Around With The Aero's???? The Deeper You Put Them In The Box The Lower Your Tuning Will Be, But If You Put Them To Low You'll Choke The Box!!! Best Way Is Move Them Up An Inch At A Time And Burp To See Change In Frequency And Score Then Cut Them At Loudest Burp. But Like Basscort Said Its Better To Run Slotted Ports!!! 1st Box Subs Up Ports Back And Keep The Subs Closer, Move The Box Around In The Cab And Test To See Best Score Also Might Want To Turn The Box To See What Firing Into The Wells Do For You!!! 2nd Box I'd Do Would Be Subs Up Port Up And Again Move Box Back In Fourth And Spin It. After These Two Builds You Will Know What Works Best For Your Car And Current System Then Its Tuning And Tweaks From There!!! (Visors Down, Seats All The Way Forward And Leaned Back As Far As Possible. Some Little Things Go A Long Way In Some Vehicles!!!) | |
