6-time USAC SQ Champion VW GTi For Sale

The time has come for us to let go of the 2000 VW GTi that we used to compete in Sound Quality competitions. If you are not familiar with the car, it won USAC World Finals in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 for a total of 6 titles (2 classes in 2007 & 2008).

$4k for the car w/o equipment; $8k with equipment. I'm not interested in haggling prices as this is very reasonable for this vehicle. If I don't have interest in the complete car very soon, I will be stripping the equipment from it and sell the vehicle on its own. I have NO desire to part out the system piece by piece.

Car: 2000 VW GTi GLX, 2.8VR6, 5-speed manual, approx 185k miles, Koni coil-over suspension w/ adjustable ride height, black leather seats/black carpet, gray microsuede headliner. The car is in good shape for a car that is 12 years old. The clutch and brake pads/rotors were replaced last year. The original wheels are now on the car - not the fancy looking 18s that are in the photo.

Audio system: Full PC for headunit with 8" VGA touch screen, 300gb harddrive and DVD drive (there is no normal headunit in this car); Alpine H700 processor and controller fed via toslink from PC; Focal BE tweeters, 3's, 5's; Focal 40KX 15" sub; Steg K202 (x2) and Steg K401 amplifiers. More extras than I can list here.
