It is, i have thought about doing this before, but with a Jensen dust cap or something. ^^ would have made a nice Sony sub, should have went with one of their caps, ha.

Is that an HE dustcap? and RF wishes that was their sub... Did you request PSI put the cap on or did you just order the recone and do it yourself? I'm about to send PSI a 9515 soon.

yeah, its a Punch HE dustcap. and PSI reconed it but the dustcap they put on broke, so i just put the RF dustcap on myself for fun.

yeah, people keep hating on the RF dustcap but if someone doesnt like it i can send along a plain black dome dustcap with it so they can replace it. a dustcap is easy to replace.

ah.. let them hate, its not even a true DD sub anymore since its been reconed. Mine has the PSI dust cap now.

yeah, thats what i was thinking too. and nice, i did have the legit PSI dustcap but it broke lol and i dont have money to get a new PSI dustcap so thats why i got the RF for free from a friend and thats why im selling this to get money

well the sub came with a big concave dustcap that covered the whole cone and had a small flat dustcap under that to cover the coil. but one day i was listening to it and i heard a weird noise so i took the big concave dustcap off and found the small flat dustcap under it broken so i took it off and painted the cone hot pink and glued on the RF dustcap.

You should have sent it back, they cover craftsmanship under warranty.. unless it was past the 1yr warranty.

well i bought it on caco, and the previous owner had gotten it reconed. so by now im sure its been a year.

its a 4 spoke basket. and idk how to post more then 1 pic on here. how do u do it?

oh ok....to put up pics on here..
1. make sure your have the pic saved on your compuer.
2. on this comment space, if you look up at the little sqaure click the 6th one.
3. a little window will put up.
4.click the browse and then it will take you to the documents then your saved pic will should be in your pictures. the click it and click host it.
5. now copy the second bar that says image and paste it on here.. and thats how you do magic

AQ and DD look mostly alike cause they come from the same buildhouse.

The f motor is one of the best dd has ever made.....

DD builds aq and owns aq.......so you are correct. Aq is still a "cheaper" made sub but hard to beat if on a budget.
