No. I am removing everything and replacing all the wire amd removing all the batts and runing caps only..

bad thing is people are going to cry about all the caps and next year there will be a limit for them ,,and all that money down the drain

been running caps at finals since 2006, sorry it took ya'll till 2011 to figure out how good they are, well battery limits helped with that, but heck we've had them for a few years now too.

i guess we did a good job keeping them a secret for a while, i've gotten so many pm's about caps this year it's not even funny

R&E was actually contacted by us in 2007 and asked about limiting them because we agree, they are expensive as hell, but do there job well. It was decided not to limit them.

I'm not 100% on this but watching the voltage last yr im pretty sure l&c may have been running them last year, i asked kevin, but he didn't answer

i think they have had them for a while as well man that and db blue

i need to get me some of that db blue.lol

fish im not sure id recomend taking ur bats out, remember caps are a storage device, not an energy producing device like a batt.

also im not sure how your car will react as far as charging, im sure it would be fine, but there's nothing to keep them in check so to speak. I'm guessing the comp on yours would do that.

there not like a batt where if you try to give them too much yeah the batts will take it, but while taking it they will fight back to bring it down. whereas caps, there just gonna go to whatever you give them no fight at all, could be dangerous. they'll just go till they blow whereas a batt will at least fight it. This would be the same on the low side as well minus the blowing up part.

bring your jumper cables, especially if you stay somewhere cold overnight.

i dont think its that we just found out. i think its just that we figured out how to do it for a fraction of the price as the banks like you guys have had...

I had a reply to this, but im going to save it till after finals.

After finals i'll write a book, well short paper on caps, what to get, what not to get. how to charge them. what the like/don't like etc etc.

i found some of the ones u are suppose to get but couldnt afford them.lol so went cheap for this year.lol

caps are one thing that you dont go cheap with..........
