| my civic wont strat 99% of the time today unless i dump gas in it to get it running then she runs fine .....ill shut it off it might start again right away but if it sits a few secs she has to have gas dumped in it again to start...... what ya think week fuel pump or what | |

| or main relay this is also a symptom of that as well

is the check engine light on ??? I know the main relay is a problem in the ones like my body style but I didn't think the older ones had that problem. You should be able to hear the fuel pump when u turn the key forward. I suppose you have the floor of the wall already done which is now covering the fuel pump cover? | |

| oh yes they sure do have that issue as well man trust me on that
every crx i have ever owned had to have it replace other than that keep ignitors for the distributor in stock and your golden lol

| was fuel pump but it sucks ya gotta pull the tank to get to it ,,,i thought ya get it from the inside of car but not on the 91 hatchback just the float was there | |

| yea, my ex gf had a gs-r swapped ef hatch i built, and converted it all to obd1, and i had to swap the pump, i hate dropping the tank on those, not that its hard, but i hate having to reach up above the tank and disconnecting the lines. On my EG and DC2 i could access the pump from the aluminum cover under the rear seat, i luvved it! | |

| Jason's civic must have a leak in the fuel line and makes it do the same thing. He has to prime the fuel line twice to make it start each time. Especially if it is hot. | |
