I understand your quest. You have come to the right place to get your answers. If you want them there are several people here that have built a lot of enclosures over the years and know what works and what doesn't. So if you ask for help and you get it be thankful that you received it. Because back when I started cough 20 years ago cough. I had to do it myself there was no forum I could jump on and ask some of the worlds best builders for advice. Not trying to be a dick but seems like you keep asking the same question but not taking the advice you have been given. If you are not sure about a design or have questions about said design ask the person that gave it to you. I understand you want different opinions and all, but at this rate if you don't at least try them and give some kind of feedback on if it worked for you or not then how is anyone really going to help you. Now before you jump my Dung Pile and say that building boxes is expensive and that if the first one doesn't work then you are out that money. True but it was a learning experience. The best way to gain knowledge and understanding of where these guys are coming from is they test and test and test and test some more until they think its the best it can be. Then guess what they test some more. So if you want the info its being given take it and run. I know that I have built Fred's Explorer 4 different times and twice before finals last year. Is it perfect no but the design works well and has not failed to produce the number we were shooting for. But guess what test, test, test, and test some more. End of rant!

| the bottom line is he is trying to get a rock solid comp type of design so he doesnt have to shell out a ton of money in wood building and trying to figure out whats best. while this is pretty smart it isnt practicle at all because of the amount of variables involved in everything from the placement of the ashtray to the size of the visors lol. it all accounts in tuning, and this is where it all matters.
op save up some cash take all these designs build them all and keep the best
