| M3a should still fit the 600w 4 ohm rating as its basically the same as the old m3 besides new heat sink and makes a couple hundred more watts @ 12v or so i was told then the old one. | |

| also it seems like the lower the ohm load and better voltage on the dd amps that they start to give you lots and lots of power i got 2 m4a's doing close to 20k strapped at .5 each amp seeing .25 on music daily no issues at all | |

779-30% remember= 545 yes, but what is 545 plus 30%, not 779 lol i dont know why people continue to think they get to knock 30% off what an amp is rated at. rules says highest manufacturer rated power at 4 ohm or the math equation, whichever is higher. heck could have a pile of crap brand x amp and they might rate it at 10000 watts to get people to buy it, open it up and it has 3 resisters, a cracker jax box, and a big empty board, has 8 guage power input, only do 100 watts, buess what, it's still rated at 10000 for usaci purposes because thats what they say. the 30% toloernce is only because you can take 10 of the same amp, and one might do 50 or 100 watts mre than another. If you ask me the 30% is a tad high, but hey, thats what we use. In the case of the original dd m3 well if you dont know yes it was 780, then it got changed to 600 by dd, they didnt get to "knock it off" it was done with most people not knowing before finals of 07 i belive, they said it didnt put out as much as they originally thought, hmmmm, not sure if thats true, but who am i to say what they might have said, thats just what i remember, maybe it is the same case here. and yes i have ran them the last few yrs, and i belive they even passed a protest at one point. but no you dont get to knock 30% off and shouldnt be able to, then take post it labels and change your manauls after the fact lol. and my earlier post was actually a joke |

| actually when a manu puts out literature saying its higher than the retuned rating it shouldnt matter
now ill back up my statement
i ran a 400.1 one year in 301-900 mod i had something that said 900@4/someone else went and got all nervouse and found something else that said 1200@4 well emagine my suprise when i was told sorry jeff but its not good anymore. I say suprised because before finals eben happend i had called and talked to ralph about this very issue, and was told no worries man bring it.
see my point is it all depends on who it is man i wont say who dug up the literature and had the issue because its not the problem inconsistancy is
therefore the m3 should be rated at 778@4
just my .2 cents | |

Well we just need dd to put 600@4ohm in the manual since that what we go by i guess the d5 is allowed and we all know what they put out both need to be 600 it would make comps more interesting i could really use 3 m3s in my class instead of one m4 just my opinion

| are you kidding me fornicating cry babies is all i see man the entire build accounts for the score not just amps
i could probly ask how you obtain the resonant freaquency/what your rise is and how to control it and you would either be way off or not even know
but keep blaming the d5, and since you are ill guess you aint here just to compete you want to win and well them guys winning isnt on amp alone homie

| LOL! That's all it takes to be legal in USACi. Anybody want to buy a see-thru piece of tape with 2400 @ 1? Guaranteed to make your amp legal for just $5 (Paypal me) AQ20 not legal? NO MORE! Use my simple solution and you too can run an obviously illegal amp in 0-600. | |
