indoor SQ show...DBL point...Conway AR

Yup...you heard it right...indoors!!!!!!! July 9th (Saturday). Conway Expo Center. I can email the flier to anyone interested. Its dbl point USAC and IASCA! Parking is limited!

just to bump...judging staff is lined up and in place for this show unlike others that are floating out there right now. I'm just out here trying to do my part and represent the orgs well...I don't see why anyone would want their name on a show that has no judges or lack of credible judging staff. A single point event...ok...slide a little...but double, triple, and regional..nah, you gotta have good folks.

I'm hoping I can make it. Got any recommendations for a decent hotel? It's a 4-5 hour drive for me, so unless it gets wrapped up really early, I'm going to have to stay the night.

Motorsports Authority and I are shopping hotels. I'll post up findings. There are a bunch around that exit (Hwy 64 exit off I-40)

FYI...14 cars pre-registered as of now. That leaves 6 parking spots. let me know quickly guys.

This is going to be a great show. It may be a drive for some of you, but the quality of the competition doesn't get much better than this until Finals!

I would agree with you, but unfortunately the timing didn't work out for me. It would have been great to come just meet and hang out with everyone.

I'm not going be able to make this one. I traded my car in a couple weeks ago and haven't had time to get my equipment installed in the new ride.

The car show was huge! 100+ cars in the building, we had to turn away vendors because we were out of room. The show went very smooth, and everything was right on time. There should be pictures up in a few weeks at http://www.msacarshow.com. For the sound off portion, we had 25 entries!

Thank you guys so much for coming to support the show. I had some on this list at a 4-5 hour drive to get here. I plan on trying to make this happen next year. Bryan Lin has put together the MSA car show for the last 7 years and it has become a staple in the local car show community in AR. I look forward to working with him again! Very nice show homey....well organized and great turnout...caliber of cars was NICE too...maybe bigger next year with SPL for all the local whiners to participate in...

haha...yeah...we are looking at the possibility of SPL outside and keep SQ/Carshow inside. I know its hot, but at least it would be offered.

I guess I have another thank you for the guys attending this show...I haven't found event results with a USAC SQ turnout like this for this year yet. There probably was one...I just haven't found it yet. Regardless...you guys rock.
It is also cool that all but one crossed over and did both organizations. Of course, James and Joe were judging USAC so they can't compete in USAC...but still...real cool of all you guys. Mark Eldridge and David Wood did the car show as well (there may have been a couple others...I want to say Matt Killian may have entered too). Mark one BOS and David won best audio/video award. I forgot to mention that as well! AWESOME JOB GUYS!

I would have competed in USAC Mod SQ and Mod Q, but, ethically, it wouldn't have been right to do so.
