| 2 DC Audio level5 15's on 2 Planet Audio bb2400.1's Total box volume is 8 cubic ft before sub or port displacement 7.50 after subs. with the port depth3.50x12x13.50 its tunning it at 60hz doing a 150.3 Heres what im asking, would it maybe do any good to decrese the box volume with that same port to get more out of it or would it make more since to increse to about 9 cubic feet "9cubic ft is about my max without going out of stock class"

| That port was 65hz... I say take 1.5ft3 from that box and to use that same port would put it at around 80hz, you can try it... Never know, but I don't think that would turn out too good. I'll build your port about 8.75", put it back around 65hz. Put it back on the meter and I'll give you 5$ if its not a gain... | |

| Marc, we are going to try that first, port is already as big as I can get it without rebuilding the entire box again. I think we will just make the port a little longer to tune it back down tho. I do agree to open the port up more that why I say we will try whatever | |

The port is made to a separate plate that gets bolted into the box. It makes it easier to change the tune. Build and test a few ports for comps, but then have another port for everyday listening... Just bolt it in... | |
