| im going to put air bags on the van this week and should i remove all my battery grounds to the frame ...im weld the brackets on | |

| Just use your amps as the power source for the welding.
I don't know the correct answer, but I would guess yes. |

| Nah, the welder will be making an isolated circuit. it wont affect the amps or the vehicle electronics. | |

| you dont have to unhook grounds.. i do alot of welding for a living.. wont hurt anything | |

| it wony hurt... i did bags on my truck and lambo doors . and i used to work at a shop that did custom builds and we usualy took off ground but the helper would hardly remember never had probs. | |

| just heat up the springs with a torch... LOL.. i have seen people lower vehicles that way.. but i wouldnt recommend.. lol | |

| with leafs if you willing to spend the lil extra cash you might be able to bolt on a kit thats used on dullys and hd trucks ... which are for lifting the rear for loads. i can look into it if youd like? | |

| Rowland I went to a spring shop and they cut a couple of new leaf springs for mine and that problem was solved.

| jeff i dont care what anyone says , disconect anything you are woried about , computer , amps radio , etc... you will be welding to the frame , it is not worth the risk , it will take you a very short tome to do this , it could be very expensive to have to replace sht , i have seen/ heard of radios/computers getting fried when welding. go to any large body shop and they will tell you the same . if some of you have never had a problem ....congrates and good luck in the future . when/if it does happen you will say sht , would have taken minutes to diconect the batt. | |
