Amp testing

There nice amps butt a little protecty at 1/4 ohm.

theres alot of trunks out there i havent seen tested id love to see what a bonneville would do!! they have huge trunks all around i bet you could get 1 real loud!! the newer models!! i could prolly talk my mom into letting me borrow heres for a week or so to throw my setup in and see what it does!!

this testing was done on the box I cut at finals and did 154.0 on 2 d5's. The DD M3's. are nice amps. Now I will box them up and ship them to some unknown sb dude

Same as tested before. I did try lowering the levels .
I didn't lower the inpedennce. These amps will not run at. 25 they need. 33.

Well in this test the IA40.1 beat the allmighty d9's. Yea I didn't take time to let the batts charge and subs cool but. Yea there close.

did you clap to see what kinda power you were getting with each set up?

I do not have a clamp as of yet. But soon.

u were running the D5s on 12volts???? and the D9s??? Would love to see 18volts like those amps were suppose to be ran. I did think the DDM3a were as good if not better than the D5 on 12volts. But I would like to see a comparison on 18 volts.

The d5 is rated at 500 watts at 14 volts and the M3a is ~600 on 11.9 volts. I do love the fact that you have the equipment to do these comparisons, keep up the good work. Does anyone know if the new M3As are still gonna be 600 watts in USACI, Im really thinking about running them, because of the price compared to the RD D5s

I belive they are 750. The website doesn't give a 4 ohm rating .if they get the 750@4 rating. They will make a great sb amp. I wish the mod classes and stock classes had the same power break down .

i guess I just have to wait for cactus to want to sell amps.

I sold all my d1000's I will be getting d1600's for next season. Running 12 volt this year.

I will be testing with the audio q 20k next weekend. I will be testing with the forward 2 15' box.
2 d9's. Did 156.in this box. And 4 did 157 .

The 20k.. assuming the setup is the same that did a 56 of the d9s .. bet the sundown are just. Little louder.. maybe, .5. Just guessing

I will say. They are stronger than the d5's. And are stable efficient compact you will like them. You will have them Friday or Saturday.

congrats to scion on getting the m3as and to fish for getting the 20k i hope to see good things from both of you, i still miss those m3as though --------------oh yeah i got a stetsom 14k i can fall in love with now lol

On a 12v system the m3's are hard to beat.....they protect @ 15.3-15.5 from what dd says....they were made for daily systems not burp machines. D5 and the like come alive @ 18v...I have herad upwards of 7000 watts out of a d5 on 18v!

I didn't clamp the dd m3a's. But I did get .2db more out of them.

new ddm3a's should be able to get min or 4k each with rise at 1. i would assume.

Yep

.2 in chris's car could be what color socks he had on. To me. 2 in one car isn't enough to say what's stronger. I don't know nor do I care what's stronger. I know they are strong. As are cactus, ametican bass and the d5 ... Was just suprised cause I haven't heard that before. Id like 2 of any option for the civic.
