An GOOD JOB George, whatever you do, DO NOT, DO NOT gut that van out. If you have to do minor repairs be very careful but don't change anything.

| no big plans to gut anything out i do think the van will do 180 but i have to play with it more in the off season. one thing i will change is that i will fix the bent rear axle on the van and give it a tune up. everything else we will see. with TEAM SD backing me up who knows what will happen? | |

| George, please don't do anything to that van. You never knew you were doing a 79. With a little tweeking and maybe different subs you got that 80, it's right there. Think about it. There are only a few guys in the world who have the experience and know how to build a vehicle like that and reach an 80. If you do anything to that van don't do it without help from the original builder. He is the "ONLY ONE" I would trust if it were me. | |

| i think craig butler help and ideas are very very vauleable to us and we need to take them.. 180 is not going to cut it, you need to reach for mid 81's we know the van can do 180 as is with very little change, but thats about were it will end, untill we do those bigger changes | |

| yes craig and rusty helped with the van at finals we could not figure out why it was stuck at 175 then we figured it out after my second run that my term lab was not set up to read over 175+ so the van will stay the way it is for the most part. and then we will change 2 things and see what happens | |

| Gary has a valid point.
George will have to define his goal, with something in mind: after 180 the mic and air are compressed, so the double power = 3dB does not apply anymore, but a new rule, 3x power = 1dB.
