Amplifiers and vibration

Well i think my RCA inputs are bad because they are loose. Maybe vibrated loose over time. Anyway, what do ya'll all do if anything to deal with the vibrations, certainly they can be bad for amplifiers.

The is a lot of vibration in my truck, the other night i had a drawer of nice and neatly arranged sockets sitting in the bed of my truck, burped it once, and my sockets were all over the place, half of them not even in the nice plastic organizer drawer anymore. If it does that to my sockets, certainly it can't be good for electrnics over time. And yes, all my amplifiers and crossovers etc and secured to my amp racket via screws. Im gonna add some thin rubber peices, but will it really help much?

I use over 3/4 thick rubber mat under my amp. After having my DD amps break over and over again due to vibration I added it and havent had an issue since. Hope this helps.

I cut strips of thick rubber, and put about 1/2" layer under each amp mounting screw.

Past that, there isn't much more you can do... unless you build a small anechoic chamber for the amps (which would be kinda cool).
