Gonna get into SPL comps again. Goin with 2 10's. Got a $2000 limit that must include a cd player. so I got about $1600 for woofers, box, amps. Back of a 2003 BLazer. Looking for ideas. Not looking for cheap junk.

you mean to tell me your headunit will cost you 400 bucks better not be a half din if so you gettin raped. you can pick a great alpine or pioneer deck for spl for no more than 200 bucks.

shoot i run pioneer 4100ubs cuz they have a 4 volt output and sub tuning... and the fact you can get em for a little over 100 bucks....well i thinks now they are 4200ubs now but same radio pretty much as for subs and amps i would do american bass subs the vfl comes in 10 i think...and of course im gonna recommend brand x amps cuz thats all i use. cheap raw power. for 190 bucks you cant beat em they will play at .5 if you tune em right ive never really maxed one out they will push the crap out of anything Very Happy

I use the same HU. Pioneer Premier 4100 series

It can get skippy on you, with certain box designs... but it's got an amazing feature set for < $150. Pause button and MP3 playback is all I needed. Kinda nice that you can buy them from Bestbuy or any local shop.
