finals verification judge?

Depends on the changes they make. We will have a sheet for each competitor with the equipment they run on Sat. For re-runs they must be reverified.

i go up to the lane for 0-1000 trunk, say i burp a 160 (......more like a 54). i go over and they start to deconstruct my car?????

if you want, after i burp, i can pop my trunk take 2 speaker leads off and hand ralph my box....

Jimbo would still have to tear down the vehicle to be sure it complies with all the rules for the trunk division.

and the rear tire of whatever side you meter on also.

throughout the run? they only checked me before i ran. i could have run nitrous and nobody would know.

Well dat shitt wont get pass me this year then dammmit they keep meter on at finals for the whole run.... Whether or not they watch it is another story.. 30bucks 30bucks 30bucks bucks bucks......

WOW, guys, we use a peak hold meter, so we really don't need to watch it. If voltage goes over the limit for that class, we will see it, and thats automatic disqualification and NO refund.

Peak hold voltmeters on all vehicles.
Check dash board area for mods.
Reruns will be reverified.
We will use tech sheets to record vehicle equipment prior to !st. run on Saturday.
NO teardowns unless there is a protest.
Mic placement will be verified before "go" signal is given to table.

x2 Plus headliner and door panels made with mdf..

i belive decorative mdf applied panels are allowed up to a certian thickness. i belive 3/8" and oem healiners that have been prepaired to be painted & painted are allowed also. mdf headliners would be a big no no. also i belive the heater core and duct can be removed as long as you can pass state inspection and all required rules for defrosters in your state.

Well now, I do believe the rules say NO mods forward of the "B" pillar, in most classes.

id have to disagree about the heater eqpt.. perhaps no one would really know if the actual duct work is out, but the blower motor / box makes a nice pocket and is a classic astro and crx mod.. its should be looked for this year ... as well as what kumar stated.. there are MDF door panels out there and i dont really agree with that being OK..

so your saying you cant apply decoritve panels to the oem door panels like charles had at finals last yr and other people have. i was at a show this yr when ralph called the judge at that show and talked about that and he explained that to ralph and they agreed its more decortive and was permitted. so who should i listen too or got to with this. cause i dont want any problems at finals... just seam every judge is diffrent. and as i think charles explained it regaurding the heater core its not a modafaction it removal.

so is a heater core need also?
and door panels cause i will change my panels out?

im not here to fight about it. just need to know do i have to have the heater core or not, and what about the door panels do i need to post pics or get some other verifaction or remove them?

if removing it makes a pocket for the globe then it shouldnt be ok. charles old van and alex's silver van both had mdf bottom halfs. i guess if its OK then you just have to join them.. but i really think both are a lilttle over kill to what the rules state. what the rules read to me would be somthing like how kumar has the panels on his doors. small pieces to pretty them up.. either way , if its legal.. then go for it ..

Some things might be considered decorative, some may not. It will be decided on a car by car basis. MDF for door panels are not allowed, [ or for headliners ]

so what about door panel upgrades..... i made a mdf panel to fit a 4in mb quart mid and a ED audio 7in speaker..... they were made to contour up to my dash and half way up my door, then they curve around.... if i have to have them out, then i would like to know so i can start looking in junk yards for new doors....
