It doesn't have the perfect beat, but it's pretty good for low-60's range.

I know that no one wants to disclose their songs, in the frequency range of "big boy" cars, but if anyone could atleast PM me a genre or artist, I'd greatly appreciate it.


PS - Audacity has a nice spectrum analyzer, but you have to load the song in. If you have decent ears, then you can pick the songs, and run spectrum analysis to check the tightness of the frequency range. Handy indeed!

52 Hz: Gorilla Zoe & Waka Flocka Flame - "Hands" (only 27 seconds at 3:04)

It's got 2 distinct peaks, that swap out every 15 seconds... but at the end it repeats the 52 Hz beat. It may not be the ideal SB song, but it's pretty solid bass with minimal breaks.

Edit: Quad Force is 63 Hz, but it's not the title track... it's the Intro Track, at 33 sec

Found that WinAmp has a plugin called DSP Spectrum Tool. It has a decent spectrum analyzer and is free for 30 days demo. You want to set the FFT to Hanning, 16384, 13 fps. Frequency range should be limited to 200 Hz and on a linear scale.

It really shows you the differences between Eminem and Petey Pablo.

Found a fun tune, for those looking for rock tunes.

Dream Theater's Liquid Tension Experiment 2 has a song "Chewbacca"

Halfway through the song, it goes into a rolling tone @ 36 Hz! It has 3 octave-spaced overtones, so you'd want to keep your low pass filter nice and low.

Conversely, you can pick up the first overtone (74 Hz) by setting your subsonic filter all the way up.

For those who haven't heard of Dream Theater, they sound alot like Rush, but they're some of the most talented musicians to ever hit the studio. Alot of creativity, tempo changes, weird instruments, and incredibly intricate studio work. Truly a blessing to any audiophiles out there who love decyphering good music. Think of them like the Dave Matthews of classic rock.
