Is anyone running sealed boxes anymore?

i do in my truck when i need the extra room. right now i have a power acustik mofo 15" and the box takes up about half the back seat of a crew cab chevy. when i need room i have a little sealed box for one 12 that i will use on occasions

only when customers really want to be cheap lol or trucks under the seat and such.

only for testing matters lol

Is it for a spl or comp...sq......or just to get some bump in yer ride ..there are alot of boxes like that now .....with the right sub ..amp ........"ride" ...wire ...etc that you talk about could in theory sound good really good .......

ive built only one sealed box in the last about 5 years. it was for 1 10inch for under my dads f150 seat.

i won the 09 national points race in usac with sealed boxes.

then i got into ports and never looked back.

I know the difference between ported and sealed. i just thought about doin an old school build for fun. Like 18 12s . i remember back n the day these were so cool just for the wow factor, not going for any records just wanna have fun.

Now i just got to find some good subs that will run in sealed enclosures. alot of subs now are for ported boxes

I run a sealed enclosure and I am extremely happy with it, I love the way it sounds, I am happy with the output and like you mentioned with 16 10's I definately get the WOW factor. I know with a ported enclosure and 1/3 the subs I would be louder but for me I'm not about being the loudest I just wanted to build something I am happy with and I am sure everyone who has heard my system will tell you that it sounds pretty gosh darn good.

i took 2nd my first year with 4 L7 15's in small sealed inclosers in my 2001 eclipse gt, and it was so fornicating funny.
