Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

If you want to street beat it doesn't really matter what your resonant fz is. You would want to build a box that gives the subs the flattest response curve or a possible bump around 40hz. Four 12"s would want 9-12 cu ft. , 100-150 sq. in. port tuned to 32hz-39hz.
I would think subs forward and ports up.

That is not the case! I have built boxes that peak were I want them to! It has more to do with box size than port size .

Maybe it's a difference of opinions. What exactly is streetbeat? A system going 'bang, bang, baaang, baaaang, bang, bang, baaang.' At 60hz or something going 'boom, boom, booom, booom, boooom, boom'at 40hz? That is what's going to determine the design and tuning of the box.
