| Can i run my oem 105 alt paired with a HO 200 without issues? Or do they need to be the same? I've heard it don't matter and I've heard that I shouldn't do it cause they might spin at different rpm's. the pully size is the same if that matters. | |

| i wish it was fine. Soon as i put the newly repaired alt in solo, i got 10 mins down the road and saw some pretty good improvement over the stock, till i smelled burnt electronics. Then the battery light says "hey you just fried your alt." Sweet. $60 for 10 mins. Well back to that 105 till i can $500 together for a name brand. Only i'm not sure which one to got with. I've heard mixed reviews but was thinking mechman. I think they make a 250 for my ride | |

You never mentioned a repaired Alt, doesn't sound like it was repaired correctly? | |

| well when i sent it in it didn't work at all. so they replaced the main rotor. worked great for 10 mins or so, but i was beatin my doors off. Autozone stock has worked fine for a year and a half. That 200 was an ebay special, and i had it fixed once before. Freakin lemon aint gettin no more squeeze from me. I don't even wanna ship it back. seems like a waste at this point so ima save for a big dog and get her done | |
