Ill be honest with you Im not impressed with the DD Z SE at all!! I would gladly trade 2 M3s for this amp. It wont turn on unless voltage is below 16.5 volts. In a side by side comparison our Memphis 4k was about .3 louder @ 16v. Did a legal 155.3 in No Wall with the 4k and did a 155 flat with the DD. At the show it did another .3 less then testing at the shop and we used the same meter and voltage for all the tests. Starting impeadence was .5 and was at 1.4 after rise. We have #3 of 50 if anyone is interested in buying or trading for it.

The memphis 4k does ALOT of power on a 18v system from what i have seen/heard.....maybe the dd amp wants starting .25 ohm to really come alive. I know my m3's from .5 to .25 is a huge diference in power output. What was your ohm rise to with the dd amp and then the 4kw?? Did you clamp them both??
