| I have an 08 Pontiac G8. It came with a stock Blaupunkit headunit that cannot be replaced because the AC is also controled by the headunit. The car has two 1" dash mounted tweeters, a 3.5" center speaker , 6.5's in the front and rear doors and two 8" subs in the rear deck. All speakers are 2ohm. I want to replace all the speakers in the car and I want the best possible sound quality. Can anyone suggest the best products methods to accomplish this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. | |

Not many companies make 2 ohm drivers. Image Dynamics are the only ones I know of.

| jkrob21- Could I change the ohm load by wiring the speakers differently?
george szawan- It isn't the same HU. I wish it were. Apparently that HU is much easier to swap out because the AC isn't as deeply integrated into the HU as mine is.
cody08- Excuse this next question, what is an Audison bit one?
mifivespeed- Will the JBL's replace all of my factory speakers?

| mifivespeed- disregard that last question. I googled the ms-8. That looks impressive but I don't want that screen on my dash. I want to maintain the factory look. Does it have to be mounted in plain sight or could I hide it somewhere? | |

| The screen can be hidden in the center console. You don't have to have it in plain sight | |

| Is the JBL a better option than the 3.sixty.2 or the Auidson? It looks more user friendly. Which option will give me he best sq? After all, that is what I'm looking for. Whether its from just adding a processor or upgrading my factory speakers. | |

| The Audison will give you the best SQ, but comes with a hefty price tag. The 3sixty.2 is neat but doesn't offer anywhere near the flexibility the audison has. I have no experience with the JBL | |
