PostSubject: Heim Machine Baracuda (mini off-road buggy)   Wed Jul 14, 2010 1:45 pm

I went out to one of my good old friends machine shops the other night to catch up on old times. We used to build mini buggies together a few years ago before I got into the stereo scene.

I figured some people might get a kick out of this. (There's a couple videos at the bottom also)

Front buggy has a turbo Suzuki Hayabusa engine in it. Estimated at 310 HP after completion.

The second buggies donor bike

Some closeup shots of Doug's work. He fabbed the whole chassis and almost all the parts except a few things (seat, shocks, engine, rims, tires, stuff like that)

He made them if you're talking about the drive shafts and spindle/hub assembly

It's about 20K with a Hayabusa engine, powder coated, with the Fox shocks, and alot of other goodies. Of course if you don't need/want all the bells and whistles and probably a lower engine if will be cheaper. His last one had a Honda RC51 V-Twin in it and he's built them with GSXR 1000's also.

PM me if you really are interested in getting one.
