| I will be redoing my wiring in my truck and have 100' of 1/0. Should I make 2 runs of power and 2 runs of grounds or should I make all power runs and a few grounds to the frame near the rear batteries.
I've read that people do it both ways. What do you guys say?

| like i said i don't run but one positive run to the back my batt is ground to my chasis an it does fine. now i don't have a huge build like most of th guys on this site, like i said its something you have to test. you can do just 2 or 3 runs of power to the back an then ground all batts to the frame or do 6 runs 3 power 3 grounds an see what ya voltage does. an don't mind 6 it was just an example | |

| I've done it both ways.....upgrading all your factory grounds helped me with only one 4/0 power.....also I have one truck with 8 1/0 power and 8 1/0 ground with alum buss bars and I also have a car with the same runs but copper bars.....it really depends on the app but its all about voltage and resestance | |

| you have a full frame under that truck, if you go to the frame, clean it and bolt them solid they will be fine like that . but im not sure if thats more or less work that just running them to the front. | |

| Alan, its just as easy to go to the frame as it is to run all the way to the front.
I think I'm gonna make 3 positve runs and a ground to each battry from the frame.
Another Question.......should I run my grounds for my amps to the battery or the frame?
I've always went from the batteries to the amps.
