Would of had more, people were waiting to sign up but the police shut us down and wouldn't let us sign anymore up, guess you guys were just to loud

how do you get shut down with a permit?

Yeah during the burnout competition, I would say after about 3 cars we see several police drive in. They start saying they smelt marijuana and had complaints that everyone at the show was being loud and we needed to shut it down. The promotors had permits but the police didn't care and told everyone to leave the property.

Let's just say TEXAS MADE will live on at another location. This is there 6th year doing this show and 1st time we EVER had a conflict with the city.

MORE WERE SIGNING UP WHEN WE WERE SHUT DOWN BY THE POLICE SAYING WE WERE TO LOUD (not us the show in general) AND THEY SMELLED POT IN THE BACK PARKING LOT. They had so many excuses it was ridiculous!

So...wait...

There has been a carshow in their town for the past 6 years...bringing revenue and tax dollars into the local economy...and they shut it down?

wow...just wow.

A little bass never killed anyone.they should have let the show go on.
