| Is there going to be an audio comp at Siknic this year? I can't find it on the schedule. I thought I saw it there a couple of months ago but now it's gone. I found this flier but it only gives the dates: Does anyone know? | |

That's like the same distance as from me to Jackson and the Jackson show was no where near as big as Scrapin. You could just come out Sunday and save the hotel costs. I wish I had the room here, I'd say you could just sleep here and save the hotel fees but eveything is so cluttered here you'd pretty much have to sleep standing up. lol

Kenny I really like that rex you have, that thing is sharp. sorry.. doing this for the passed 10 yrs has really lost my motivation to get excited about certain shows.. i like to compete.. build and make numbers.. im not building AT scrapin, and who really will i have to compete with?? and no reason to show my scores . so its just another local show in my eyes. when i go to a show i look fwd to going to eat with my friends i dont get to see much after the show.. standing around watching clue less people burp 40s for 5 hours has just lost the attraction to me .. but i may show up.. who knows..

| I understand your point Alan. I still get a kick out of it, not as much as I used to but still enjoyable. My kids are all teenagers with rides and this gives us a chance to enjoy something together. They never seem to have time to stop and doing something with ole Dad....but the bigger shows we enjoy together. | |

Last time we tried to clamp it, Alan's meter was acting weird, he clamped 2500 out of his D9 @.25! LOL. The only thing that has changed is I've put in a new alt with an external regulator and I ran it with the voltage at 15.1v. I'm gonna test with it at 15.5v to see how much more I gain if anything. I've never even got that number in testing so I'm very proud of it. The only downside is it was at a back yard type show where no USACi guys were so to me its not an official score but its more like a testing score. Hopefully next week at Jackson I can duplicate it to make it official but I'm not mad about a .8 gain from going from 14.4v to 15.1v!
