I did a few burp classes 4 sb runs and 2 bace race classes with a 4kw on it ! It still works but that is some heat damage!

nothing is going to last if you dont give time in between runs ect.. or if you clip the crap out of it.

dude its not hard to do that. heck ive gained 2 dbs on my 2nd run back to back. listen ive ran kicker solox's in the past. they all look like that after some sb runs ect. they still play fine. i was just tellin ya what caused it.

The mojo's are hold up a lot better! I did all of 07 08 and part of 09 on the same cones.

chris is right the mojo's, older mojo's are better than the new ones, before kenny colman switch to rd man he had the old mojo's in his truck for a whole season an they took what he threw at them like a champ they were good subs. now the newer one's i don't think those can last at all lol.
but to futher up what ryan says yea clippin an no sub rest will do that especially if you sub is rated at 2500 an your throwing 4k into lol on a full burp lol. good luck bro

thats forsure clipping .. and standard kicker junk coils.. switch to DD and you will have the same issue.. as long as your abusing them like that NO coil will hold up... id forsure look into somthing with a nice 8 layer (like your old mojo had) or like kenny said the t3 TSNS , but most 4inch woofers are just 4 layer coils as well. just like what someone said before, if your going to clip so hard you have to give them a rest ..
