Term Lab help!!

ok bear with me.. I had it on my laptop but my harddrive went out.. So i just got done with an install and i got my gfs computer with windows 7. Took it to the computer guy in town to install it. He installd it and there is an icon that says setup because apparently i need this ro run it in 64 bit?? or something like that and another icon that has my term lab key.. I try to run termlab with my hardware plugged in and it says no hardware found, plug in hardware, run instacal, and re open.. I go to run instacal and it says it can run it because its not in 64 bit. So i click the setup icon and it gives me the option to click run which i do and it says installing then says it was installed successfully. So i open it and were back where we started.. no hardware is pluggen in when it is.. and never anywhere does it ask for my key or anything?? make since?? anyone had this problem??? help??? shootmyself???

I think I read that it won't work on 64 bit at all, no matter what, and if you had 32 bit Windows 7 you would have to pay like $50 or $100 to Wayne for a software upgrade to get it to work.

ok.. i got an update.. im trying to put it on my home PC.. I got it installed but when i try to run it it says i need a USB key attached... i have one on my other cmputer and i have the numbers and stuff but how do i "attach" it to this computer

and you spend 700 bucks so this software and it only works with a handful of computers??? wtf

You just need the 64-bit version of the Instacal and TL software. Uninstall all the outdated TL software you have and get your USB key from Wayne.

I had hell w/ TL when I got my 64-bit vista laptop, my XP comp died and I needed to test that weekend. Ended up dual booting XP to the Vista laptop until the next week...called Wayne and got the 64-bit version and an extra sensor. All is fine now. If you bought it new recently, the upgrade should be free, iirc.

you dont need it, just switch to user mode and run a xp emulation overlay of windows 7 64 bit.it will tell you that you may have compatibality issues but it will run fine.
