Quick Question (Pictures Soon)

I have 2 12 inch pioneers, with a 1200 watt kenwood amp. It hits pretty hard, I was wondering. What other things can I add so that I can get it louder, but still sounding good. Also my stereo is kenwood.

Ive just always wanted it louder than what I have it, So if you could give me some recommendations, I will get some pictures up soon, of the setup I have.

By description, I'm guessing in a prefab box? Get a custom box built properly tune the subs will go a long way.

The only way to improve your current setup would be a good battery, Big3 and ported box.

Once that is done you would need better equipment. If you plan on getting different speakers somewhere down the road keep your current box until then. Not all speakers will perform in the same box design

oh man i love the new guys. okay bro the setup you have now sounds pretty good man for beatin around the block an if ya wanna get louder i would try building a different box or getting someone to build you a better tuned box for your car.
big 3 an another batt in the back will do wonders man an then when you get it loud by just building custom boxes start to buy a bigger amp like a 2k or 3k an better subs. i mean its so much you can doo but the right now since your like 16

big 3 would be a good start an a batt an a custom built box would really make a difference though.

I forgot, to say. I already have a ported box. I has like a port down the center of the box.

what about beefing up all the wiring to 0gauge

What battery do you recommend?

optima yellow top is good for the price, kinetik is the dominator in batteries, shuriken makes good batteries too.dynamat will get you louder too

Well, ya my trunks pretty loud, probably no where close to any of your guyses but ya, it shakes the place lol. Yeah, Ill get a battery and also is soundstream a good amp?

Depends... Their higher lines are good like splx and xxx...in a matter of opinion I had a couple of friends in the past that had all soundstream and couldn't get it very loud...I'm not a big fan.

even though i switched from sound stream to db drive sound stream has always gottin loud even there lower line there t5s are killer subs i ran 6 t5s and did 160s with 4k, there amps are very nice also

First I would try a different box design maybe subs back aeroports to the side

put together in mass at a factory.. You need a hand made box with aero ports so you can tune it to the note that will suit your car best
