| Okay so It seems I always feel kind of dumb asking these questions due to the fact most forums are filled with sh*t talkers, but here everyone seems very cool and knowledgeable. So here goes I bought a 1988 crx si hoping to build a good competition car. I did compete in the import face off last month in the 0-600 stock only doing a 151.6 my cd player wouldnt allow it to get any louder it kept skipping. Now I decided I really want to try out street beat so Im gutting the car to deaden it this week over spring break. I have a 220 amp alt being built (currently running a 190 amp alt). I have to buy some subs and amps still, but am torn on what to run I am leaning torward dd 9510s, dc lvl 5s, or rd heavy weights. I also am most likely going to either run sundown, dd or cactus for the amps. What has anyone else had success with in crxs in this class. | |

| Crx is one of and probably the best vehicle for this class. The loudest setup in SB1 so far was 2 DD9510s and 4 Crossfire 2400s. Best thing to do is fine a song that plays the frequency your vehicle plays and find amps and subs in your price range and make sure you go with 2 good batteries and have a good electrical system. | |

| You can also look up Hunter Warren in Farmington. He has not built a CRX yet but he knows what he is doing. He is HunterW on most forums. | |

| Get you some 12in pvc tubes some 6in aero ports 2 nsb90s 2 good 4k watt amps and 2 subs that can handle that run each amp at .5 and get the quad force feel the real bass cd and that should get you off to a good start.

| They should work fine in there make the 12in pvc tube about 18-20in long and start with a full lenght 6in aero and get a termlab to test that cd with might have to cut the port down a inch or two | |

| If anything take your deck out to run sb just extend the wires and you shouldn't have any problems also when your testing try differnt things close ac vents, remove headrest, move visors in different positions I can go on and on you just have to test and see what your car likes | |
