so you may have over looked someone named ish , dont count your chickens before they hatch my friend , he did a 154.9 with two matts 3500.05 several times in the hall . this year he may buy something a little stronger or step down to 0-1000 , and with no b.s. he built that box just before finals and did not test it untill he got there . not saying he has the win but dont count him out ....

Since we are talking about trunk and all whats the best way to start testing for spl in a trunk? I was thinking just starting out with one woofer and finding the optimal box size using the same tuning/port area. Then I would focus on port and sub firing gains. My final step would be cutting port to resonant freq

I'm thinking 4 18's in my caprice, 1 nitro amp and a 160 all day!
