This is unarguably the largest show on the Gulf Coast. Great times, great people, beautiful scenery, many show cars & trucks, and lots of competition vehicles. Oh, did I forget to mention that it will be the middle of the summer, with the beach right across the street--you CAN'T miss the bikini contest. Be forewarned though...it's not appropriate for children.

is there a place for to store trailer queens for some party time

There's a lot of parking spots beach side. I am not really sure if they'll allow you to park a trailer there for the weekend though.

There is not any designated trailer parking.....maybe the coliseum parking lot....

I never had a problem with trailor parking but each yea can change so best thing to do is PM Greg Miller and he can answer any questions you have

Also I would like to take this time to Thank and Welcome Metra as the Title sponsor for the USACi 3x point event. They have stepped up to the plate and are going to make a huge presence at the show. Alot of you know Kenny Coleman with the toyota. He is sponsored by them and let me tell you, I saw his truck in Atlanta and that thing will Beat your head off!!!

I was goin to be attending, but the guys i was gona go with are waiting for some kind of approval from scrapin the coast if they can attend or something...........

ok, the guys i was going to go with are the new rd owners, they were going to take a couple demo vehicles,and get a booth. but apparently ol steve miller f'd over someone down there last year on some money. they are trying to come to an agreement on it, and i see both sides, yes it was RD but it was steve miller not the new guys. either way im sure it will all work out in the end

I explained to Joel that you all are more than welcome to come out and compete. It depends on whether or not if we can come to an agreement as far as RD getting a booth.
Yes, RD (Steve Miller) f'kd me out of $1,250 after I advertised his company all over everything. TV & Radio ads, flyers, 2,000 t-shirts, every award, website, provided him a booth with a tent, chairs, tables, etc....
Sorry if the new owners fell into a huge pile of Dung Pile, but in the end I advertised RD and the new owners bought RD along with all its baggage.
Like I said, we are trying to find a way to resolve this issue with the new ownwers and hopefully we can come to an agreement that way both RD and Scrapin The Coast can work together to build a better relationship for future events.

why not just have them pay up front

like i said i see both sides, and im thinking they were going to be paying up front. but yeah i hope something can be worked out.

I know for a fact that Greg went above and beyond for steve at that show. Greg got the shaft really bad. Hopefully things can get worked out and resolved for the benefit of all.

What about this....can u have someone register you, i think last year they made a rule u had too have the car there?

What the crap, i couldnt enter last year.

And i cant make it this Sat either, wedding, but i still wanna meter Sun.

No rule against having someone else register you! You can have someone register you without your vehicle there also and will be verified once the vehicle arrives.

I will get a Full list of scheduled events together soon.
But as for Thursday, that is the day that all the vendors arrive, set up, Stage set up, etc....
Friday The gates will open @ 10am and we will start taking registrations and will start metering by noon.
Skip, to answer your question you can meter on Sunday, but must be registered by noon on Sunday or have someone else register your vehicle for you Friday or Saturday
