Scrapin the Coast: HUGE TURNOUT!!!**results added**

I just got home from probably the biggest USACi comp I've ever been to. I had the pleasure of judging the 3x USACi event this weekend at Scrapin the Coast in Biloxi, MS! I must say that the turnout was simply CRAZY! I ran over 160 cars in two days including 5 SQ cars.

I think that the car audio competition scene is definitely still there when promoted properly! I'm excited about having so many guys and girls there competing! As always it was a pleasure meeting new people, seeing old friends, and collaborating about the hobby we all love! The guys at Scrapin the Coast did a great job of putting on such a large event! I never heard a final count on the car show entry's but I know they had over 1200 registration forms printed and had to go print 1000 more to keep up!

I remember when this show was a small one at the Sportsplex in Gulfport! If things continue in the direction they have gone we'll soon have to find a bigger facility to hold all of the people! All in all it was a great weekend, things ran really smooth with the stereo comp and we only ran a little bit behind on schedule even with 60-70 more cars than we had last year! Thanks to all of you who helped me with things this weekend! You all are greatly appreciated!!! The industry is definitely strong down south and this weekend proved that car audio is here to stay! Man I am a 4 am no later than 5am riser. I slept till 10:30 am. All I did was cook, eat and compete. I am sure Geg and Tammy or zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Nice job Matt.

Concidering the extremly high number of vehicles that ran threw Matt & Chad display excellent team work. For some reason I got a feeling next year will be even bigger, so hopfully it will be two lanes for spl instead of one. Even if that second lane is used for re-runs only, it would help things run smoother & quicker.[/b]

I think the turnout suprised us all. If I know Greg like I know I do, he will do whatever it takes to make sure things go smoothly as always. He is a class act.

p.s. On sunday the cars come right past the smoker, so if the smoke bothered folks I truly apologize

so now that matt is one of them can we talk about him like we do the others.......lol

We can definitely do two lane judging next year. That idea was thrown around this year before the show. I canned the idea because I wanted to be able to be in full control as far as verifying cars and making sure everyone was checked. I'll just have to get two reliable lane judges next year and make it happen though. We have definitely outgrown a single lane of competition, and almost outgrown the facility that the show is at!!!
