| Ralph and I just got off of the phone and we've added the tonal sections (sub, mb, mid, high) to the Intro sheet. We just got 40 more points to play with in Intro/Street!! | |

| I'm working on them now and am in the home stretch. Barring any more "pointed" discussions be me and Ralph, I'm guessing they'll be on the web site before the end of the week. Not many changes to the actual rules just some tweaking and some wording cleanup. The divisions are pretty close to what they are today with a few tweaks there too. | |

| Yes, you will notice if you look real close that ALL SQ CLASSES are included on this single sheet. Class divisions are listed at the top of each column. Certain classes have certain things OMITTED (by the black box) as they will not be judged on that particular item. Much more streamlined and allows NO confusion on different types of scoresheets depending on division or classification.
It's finally getting there. I think with a few more small tweaks, everyone will know what is going on very soon and be ready for an SQ REVAMP for 2010....

| I echo what Todd said.... We're coming in to the home stretch on the rulebook. Unfortunately, Ralph and I have been using the existing book and making tweaks to it for the past few years. This has resulted in some ambiguity issues, portions with words dropped out, etc. We've lost entire pages in the past... I went back thru the entire book and rearranged some things, deleted some things that we no longer do and added quite a few clarifications to the rules. The single biggest change is how vehicles are classified. Everything is based off of the Intro class and exclusions to requirements in that class are listed as you move up in classes. I'm HOPING that this will make classification easier and eliminate a lot of the sandbagging we've seen in the past. We've closed a lot of the loopholes people used to exploit and now have a class where we can put people that don't quite fit anywhere else. As for the score sheet, there are going to be more changes to it as well. As I stated above, the Intro class picked up at least 50 points on the SQ side of the sheet and there will probably be some more install points added also. I've written a special section just for the crossover class (Called Street SQ+). This class is going to be exciting because since we now have full value SPL, I can see some SPL shootouts in that class. My vision for that class is you have to have the total package AND a good number to win it. It's like USACi was back in the early 90's. People with 2 8's need not apply... Our book isn't 45 megs and 100+ pages like Steve's book and it also doesn't have diagrams like Paul's book. I like his diagrams on certain things but don't want to be accused of ripping his book off but all of the org's scoring is VERY close in category and how the points are awarded so if you NEED a diagram, you now know where to find them...(hint hint) Stay tuned as my goal is to have the book in everyone's hands by the end of this weekend. | |

| And totally doable at this point. Most main concerns have been addressed. It comes down to modifying the draft and proofing one last time. I think it will be the most fair USACi rulebook I've seen. Just stay tuned, it shouldn't be long now.
Special thanks to TIM for spending all of his time to address tons of concerns that have need been met for quite some time. He is about the most "non-biased" person I know and his efforts should pay off by making USACi the place to be in 2010 and the future.
