| you have it at 1.3?
im running at .5 and you can go to .25 for bursts, what voltage are you running, because i have noticed that at 18v if you give them too much input they want to clip or at least mine do

| a line driver helps i heard kenny coleman had a maxxlinnk on one of his well before the d9 it was the 7500 but he ran his amp just short of a clip, bobby price ran a max on his 4 d9's also an never had an issue. it just depends on the person an how much time you have to tinker with it cause its gonna take sometime to set it up. | |

| I gave my opinion on this already well here is a little more
if the batts drop below 10.4v they will clip as well so this is wheren battery power is a must

| I had 2 D9s with a 230 amp alt and 6 2400s + stock batt. and i could street beat a 30 sec run and keep voltage above 13 v at the end of the run. now just a reg song (not a 30 sec almost constant bass line) i could keep voltage above 13.8 all the time. maybe that can give you some ideas . This was at .5ohm per amp. | |

| yeah but since you have no way to check the amount of amperage in the batts at the end of that what was the drop in socre during that whole time??????????
ya see the more amperage you can maintain during a run the better off you are this is why the elite run a Dung Pile ton of batts voltage is nothing without amperage.

| thank you sanman. i hooked it up at .33 ohms and you are right. right AT 10.4 it clips and loses 6 dbs. and it doesnt take very long to do that. again youre right. my next purchase will be as many batteries as I can afford. let me say this though. my little epic 160 ac mic has never said 154 even when a termlab does. that was with my 3 kicker amps. now it says 157. cant wait to hit up a real mic and confirm. that amp is the eargasm high i was looking for. gimmie a bit to get it all tweaked and whatnot. mabey i can get some numbers from these L7s everyone keeps telling me to throw away. | |

| ill tell ya what I ran 3 d9's at .25 on 2 nsb 100's man and they stayed on batteries and battery choices mean everything in this sport.
i did 158.2 on the dash in my s10 on 3 d9's dropping to 10.6v
on 16 2400's 6 d9's it did 159.4 the same way

| Some boxes don't pressurize as much in the port as they do in the kick. Sanman's S10 was like that. | |

| .33 it'll do 55 at 1.3. (not confirmed on a tl)
i ran it hard for 2 hours yesterday @ .33. im surprised it did that. these woofers look like they are moving further than they are supposed to. I actually had to move my seats up a click to get out of their way.
