It all depends what you need it to do.

I can say that for daily driving, my 1500 ran well with just a Yellowtop up front and a high output alt. For street beat, I have a medium sized deep-cycle in the back, and it's good but by the end of 2 runs, my headunit is trying to turn off and my clocks want to reset. 1 group 31 in the back should be sufficient for a 1500.

You'll need between 2 and 3 group 31's to support the 3000, since it's just 2 1500's internally strapped. Again, it's all about usage though. If it's a burper, just get one big car audio battery and call that good.

this amp is going in a friends car and he just wants to streetbeat

1800 kinetic up front high output alt about 200 amps an 2 more group 31 deka intimitadors or xs power s3100 those are like the deka's but smaller in size

How can you say that powermaster batts are like deka's NO where close to each other maybe close in size but ill take 1 3100 over 2 deka anyday

Isnt the s3100 smaller than the d3100? i think he is right but ya the d3100 will tear up those dekas

nsb100 is stronger and costs less as well just food for thought
