| It all depends what you need it to do.
I can say that for daily driving, my 1500 ran well with just a Yellowtop up front and a high output alt. For street beat, I have a medium sized deep-cycle in the back, and it's good but by the end of 2 runs, my headunit is trying to turn off and my clocks want to reset. 1 group 31 in the back should be sufficient for a 1500.
You'll need between 2 and 3 group 31's to support the 3000, since it's just 2 1500's internally strapped. Again, it's all about usage though. If it's a burper, just get one big car audio battery and call that good. | |
