Well I just talked to Steve . The RD 7500 dose 13500 .And I can run 3 amps on 3 of the alfa max subs .The alfa max is a alfa motor with hw soft parts .Burps only no street beat !Steve said they are same as the ones you ran Jimbo!

well what the sub can hold is just that man now with sub in box will it be to much port casuing the subs to max out due to no resistance

you will have more power than jimbo had in basically the same build and he has already told you as i have the h.w. is a louder sub "you will have more power 2x more"

Ok! Looks like I am going to have to sell the alfa max and get some HW's .I had the wrong information on the alfa max not a HW motor !Bummerrrr!

Yup go with the HW those amps looks like beasts and withwhat jeff said youwill gain on HW vs Amax with that much power ... I would say amax if you were running less power like 2 7500's not 3 i thought you said 2 originally with three you want HW promise.

i did a 62.3 with 12k and a week/weak build without even resining box and smoothing it out 100%

so 40k should do a number, but maybe not

i was as loud on 3 amps as i was on 6 hmmmmmmm interesting aint it lol. The only thing 6 amps did was burn holes through my coils.

jimbo on 20k watts i clamp 8800 an amp times 3 is a little more than 20k man.

your set up isnt weak In fact the only weak thing about it that I remember was when Phinney told me he was not happy with you because you didnt help out with the build so I personally think you owe all that to Andrew myself CHAMP

yep i didnt do a minute of work on my truck

lets see, what did i do on my truck

Ran power wire, check
Sounddeadened doors, check
found missing interior peices at junkyard, check
fixed broken window, check
fixed rust on bottom of doors, check
built door panels with speakers, check
pulled entire interior, check
soundeadened entire interior, check
put all interior back together when it was time, check
lets see we used a box that tim and danny started on last year but never finished because finals moved last year, but then i reinforced it, check
put second layer inside box danny and tim built, check
hooked up amps, check, gain matched amps, check
put subs in, check
put cactus amps in, check
found out why it wasnt loud, blown amp, check
drove 7 hrs night before finals for replacement, check
put replacemnet amps in a gain matched, check
resined the inside of the box, except for the port, check

danny put alt in and wired it up

yes phinney did help a lot, he put a second layer on the face plate of the box that was built by danny and tim last year while i put a second layer on the inside, he also built the test port, bolted the box in and ran the wires for the subs while i was driving 7 hours to pick up a replacement amp for the blown cactus amp the night before finals, and him, danny built the final port while i put the replacement amps in at 0600 friday before finals, then we all screwed in finals port, and burped it before we left,


so yeah it was a team build man, i would have done more but in combination of my son being born, aunt dying and having driven 7 hours to pick up a replacement amp night before finals i didnt, but still did a lot of it and got help, i mean thats what teams are for right

hey what did you tell me the typical gain is, or at least what your gain was going from 12v to 16v, just wondering

you have to pretty much double up on batts to gain a db man the 16v batts dont supply the amout of amperage a 12v batt does no where near it.

14 2400s at mwspl finals was only 1 db less than 23 powermaster

sure you get voltage but whats is voltage without amprage.

It is going to take some magic to get this to come together on time for Padre!
